Let’s Dance Carinda Festival – Where Bowie Lives On

hero

Held annually over the October long weekend in the remote outback town of Carinda, NSW, the Let’s Dance Carinda Festival celebrates the legendary moment David Bowie filmed his iconic Let’s Dance music video in our very own pub back in 1983. This powerful video put Carinda on the map and told a story that still resonates today.

The festival brings together music lovers, artists, and Bowie fans from all over to honour his legacy with a weekend full of live performances, Bowie-themed workshops, dazzling costumes, community spirit, and of course, dancing. Let’s Dance Carinda is a one-of-a-kind outback celebration that fuses art, music, and history.

The festival Is held every October long weekend and is a unmissable experience so make sure to join us in Carinda to experience where Bowie once stood—and dance in the footsteps of a legend.
